Some of my favorite places both on the net and real actual places!

All links open in a new window, so set your popup blocker to allow popups from Auntie Bob.  I do not have any pop up ads on the site so no worries there :)

This is one of the best Gay/Lesbian bookstores around. AB has spent plenty of time in their store on Castro. Its a great place. If you like reading as much as AB does, your gonna love this bookstore. They also have a great web site, click on the resources link for tons of info.
The advocate started out a tear sheet with tons of porn & hook up classifieds. Sadly they are too good for that anymore....
after all they are part of the "legitimate" media now!

How To Get Married In British Columbia
Gay marriage is now legal in Canada, you DO NOT have to be a Canadian resident to get married in BC

Vancouver is becoming a premier destination for gay couples wishing to tie the knot thanks to a progressive decision made by the provincial government on July 8, 2003. Lawmakers enacted legislation allowing same sex couples to become legally married. Gay or lesbian couples don't have to be residents of the province. The law only requires both parties to be over 19 years of age and single. A marriage license (purchased at insurance offices and from notary publics) and a civil service performed by appointed Marriage Commissioners are all that is required to become legally married in the province.

The process is quite simple. One of the parties to be married must apply for the marriage license which allows a couple to be married within 3 months. No blood tests are required. A religious or civil ceremony must then be performed by an individual recognized by the British Columbia Vital Statistics Agency.

Arizona Glory Hole Anyone?
This isn't a link so much, but if your ever in Phoenix/Tempe & your into some fun wholesome glory hole sex. Visit this place, its actually in Apachie Junction Az (that's just outside of Phoenix) who would of thought. Its an adult bookstore that obviously caters to folks who love glory holes, because they have a bunch of them. The really cool part is the local ASU boys know about it & the times I have been there, I have enjoyed some very tasty college cock.

The last time I was there I was in a video booth watching some porn. I could hear two guys walk in & they were obviously buddies & were just talking away, Sounded like a couple of straight boys & they had showed up together, they obviously knew what booths had the glory holes, they headed right for them. Happily for me one of the boys was in the booth adjoining mine. I got a look at him thru the GH as he entered the booth, one grade "A" college boy. 15 min later he left one very happy camper, I had been busy enough with him I hadn't bothered to get off, but moments after the hottie bailed a dark haired Italian looking guy about 26ish showed up & he did quite the number on my cock, I love this place.

Music Links

Romanovsky & Phillips
AB is a big fan of R&P...if you don't know anything about these guys...well, your missing out! They are a duo of gay singer / song writers with such timeless hits as "What kind of self-respecting faggot am I?" "HoHoHomofobia" and many other great songs...they can be political, funny, sad, and radical all at the same time. If you ever get the chance to see these guys live, take it, AB has seen them perform at least a dozen times, and they do a great live show.

New Update: R & P now have a new website and thier music is available again :)

The Pansy Division
A great band if you like queer music with a fast hot driving beat, this is not dance music!
Just as an example, one of thier titles is: HE WHIPPED MY ASS IN TENNIS, THEN I FUCKED HIS ASS IN BED!
I love these guys.

The Decemberists
The Decemberists are one of my favorite bands, they are out of Portland, have a really unique sound. I saw them live the weekend I added this, at the Showbox in Seattle, and they are as excellent live as they are on CD. The only disappointment was that they didn't do "The Mariner's Revenge Song" (one of my favorites).
